MS, CNS, LDN
Licensed Dietician Nutritionist
Katherine Lambert, a nutritionist, believes strongly that achieving total mind-body health is impossible without first optimizing what you are eating every day. It’s like putting a broken arm in a sling without first setting the bone. A healthy way of eating should be a part of any therapy – it is like setting the bone for being able to achieve your goals.
Katherine loves working with clients to find healthy foods that fit with their lifestyle and families, their food preferences, cooking skills and budget. She teaches mindful eating practices to develop awareness and make connections between what you eat and how you feel. She also works with targeted supplements and herbs for therapeutic support when needed but her main approach is: food first, then the superfoods and then supplements and herbs.
A therapeutic diet and lifestyle changes can help restore your health and address the following:
- Weight gain/loss
- Sugar cravings
- Digestive issues
- Mood disorders and anxiety
- Sinus problems
- Diabetes and pre-diabetes
- Cholesterol imbalances
- Inflammatory conditions such as joint/muscle pain
- Food allergies and sensitivities
- Skin problems
- Bone loss
