INDIVIDUAL AND COUPLE THERAPY
EMOTION FOCUSED THERAPY (EFT)
Throughout my career as a Rabbi, hospital chaplain, and social worker, it has been an honor to support individuals, couples, and families to cope with the sadness, disappointment, shock, loneliness, and worry that life can bring.
My authenticity, humor, and empathy have helped many people feel understood and motivated to change.
I believe our tears can turn to laughter if we open ourselves to the incredible possibilities for change. I will work with you to improve your relationships and reflect on how your past affects you.
I work with individuals and couples on anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, sexual intimacy, and infidelity.
I am especially interested in working with couples and trained in emotional-focused couples therapy. Research has found EFT to be one of the most effective types of couple therapy. Together, we will explore your negative patterns, find new ways of expressing your needs, and help you feel more supported.
My experience as a Chaplain at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center provides me with expertise in helping people of all faiths and backgrounds cope with grief, illness, trauma, and existential issues.
I received my Bachelor of Art and Master’s of Social Work from the University of Michigan.
