6 WEEK INSOMNIA TREATMENT GROUP
Whether you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, you will have access to the first line treatment for insomnia, CBT-I, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia. CBT-I addresses the underlying issues that caused and now maintain your poor sleep. Unlike sleep medication, CBT-I addresses the underlying causes of insomnia rather than just relieving symptoms.
CBT-I can benefit nearly anyone with sleep problems. CBT-I can help people who have primary insomnia as well as people with physical problems that affect sleep, such as chronic pain, or mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety. Treating sleep problems simultaneously with depression, anxiety, or ADHD makes treating these conditions easier, symptoms less severe, and relapse less likely.
What’s more, the effects seem to last, and CBT-I has no negative side effects. CBT-I requires steady practice, and some approaches may cause you to lose sleep at first. But if you stick with it, and you will very likely see lasting results.
The group is run by Mandi Mader, LCSW-C, a therapist at Lotus Point Wellness. She has over 20 years of experience as a therapist, and over the last five years has developed an interest in, and received advanced training in treating sleep problems in April 2019 from the University of Pennsylvania.
Cost: $360 for 6 online sessions of CBT-I.

Support groups are a vital component to overall mental health and wellness. Attendance at all sessions helps members feel comfortable and safe.
