Getting the right amount of sleep and learning good sleep habits is vital to overall mental health and wellness. However, many people are still not getting proper sleep and struggle with what to do and how to change their habits. Here are some common questions people have:

What is the most effective way to treat insomnia?

Presented by Mandi Mader, LCSW-C. Mandi is an associate therapist at LPW and has been a psychotherapist for 25 years. After successfully lobbying Montgomery County Schools to open at a later and healthier time, she became more interested in the connection between adequate sleep and good mental health. She has since been trained at the University of Pennsylvania to treat insomnia and some other sleep disorders.
