Groups for Connection
This is an 8-week skills training group that is a condensed overview of DBT. Participants will learn certain skills from each of the 4 components of DBT (Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness). *This is not a comprehensive 24 week DBT program.
Start Date: April 22
Time: 5:30 -6:30pm
Number of Sessions: 8-weekly
Group Size: limited to 8 members
$60.00 per session
Can be made in two installments of $240.
A 15-minute video consultation is required before beginning the group.

Topics per week include:
- Week 1 – Introduction and Psychoeducation about DBT
- Week 2 – Wise Mind and Mindfulness
- Week 3 & 4 – Emotion Regulation Skills
- Week 5 & 6 – Distress Tolerance Skills
- Week 7 & 8 – Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills and Wrap Up
Support groups are a vital component to overall mental health and wellness. Attendance at all sessions helps members feel comfortable and safe. When you register, you are securing a spot in the group and agreeing to attendance at all sessions. No refunds for missed sessions; in the case of an emergency situation please discuss with the group leader.
